We all started with rules stemming from our Vibration certification education. Coding these into software was never a real success. Now we have more than just rules, we have bigger and more completed data and Machine Learning. Yet, domain expertise in both vibration analysis and in data science is needed to create success that drives Reliability. I’ll share my experience in the use of IoT technologies, domain expertise, and evolving a Big Data Analytics platform that serves clients in asset intensive industries. I’ll share examples of where it did not work, and where it does in both simple and complex environments.
The Society of Machinery Failure Prevention Technology is pleased to offer a virtual conference providing an interchange of technical information for the benefit of owners and operators of mechanical machinery.
