Activities and Programs

The Society meets annually in the Spring and provides a convivial forum for the exchange of ideas and accomplishments in such areas as Data/Knowledge Management; Electronics and Power Systems Health Management; Engineering Solutions for Failure Prevention; Tribology; Gear and Bearing Prognostics and Health Management (PHM); Health Management Strategies; PHM Applications; PHM Techniques; Signal Analysis; Sensors; Distributed Systems Architecture; Failure Prevention for Materials and Structures; and Systems Engineering.  The scope of interest for these meetings covers all areas of industry and government including production, process, utilities, transportation, and military regimes.  A different theme on a timely topic is selected for each meeting. This technical assistance is available as a service of the Society through the annual meeting and the activities of its Focus Groups.
